Smart Packaging Solutions:

"Packaging plays an essential role in the delivery of vital goods"

"As a packaging supplier, we are one of the vital organisations that ensure food availability in Europe. At Smart Packaging Solutions, we make every effort to provide the market with sufficient food-safe and optimally protective packaging made of solid cardboard. We can supply you from one of our three locations. Obviously in accordance with all precautions necessary to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, "says Smart Packaging Solutions spokesperson.

Optimal protection of food
With regards to viruses in general and the coronavirus in particular, they are known to survive outside the body of humans or animals for only a short time. Packaging therefore does not contribute to the spread of the virus. "However, they play a crucial role in the supply of fresh food and other vital products. We see it as our social task to ensure that these products receive the best possible protection when they find their way to the consumer," says company spokesperson.

"We guarantee this desired protection with our solid cardboard packaging. This minimises waste and maximises the shelf life of fresh food. It goes without saying that our packaging complies with all food safety and hygiene regulations. For example, all our production locations are BRC – IoP certified."

Necessary precautions
"As with our packaging, we as an organisation have a protective function in the fight against corona," the spokesperson continues.  "Obviously, the necessary precautions have been taken in all our production sites to ensure the health of our employees and relations and to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. A COVD-19 coordinator has been appointed within our organisation to monitor and, if necessary, tighten these measures."
