Interfresh Eurasia Fair is ready to take off

The third addition of Interfesh Eurasia Fresh Fruit Vegetable, Logistic, Packaging Trade Fair – will be held between 28th – 30th of May in Antalya – Turkey.

Interfesh Eurasia is a bridge between Turkey, Europe and Russian Speaking countries. They begin every year hoping to realize their full business potential within, not only the Turkish fresh produce trade, but with international players as well .

Interfesh Eurasia covers every single sector of the fresh produce business and provides a complete picture of products and services at every link in the Turkish market. It thus offers networking and contact opportunities to the key decision-makers in every sector of the industry.

Interfresh Eurasia brings together, Fresh Vegetable & Fruit, Storage, Packaging and Logistics companies together with associations, ministries and international buyers.

From 28-30 May 2020 companies from across the country entire fresh produce sector – from global players to small and medium-sized companies all over the country - will again be present in Antalya.

“I’m expecting an increase in the number of visitors and volume of business this year as the Macfruit and Frescon fair has been cancelled due to corona virus. Furthermore, one of the biggest buyers, Russia, has stopped all fruits coming in from China. With everything going on in Europe, who knows how deep the impact of this virus will be. I’m expecting a huge demand from Russian speaking countries, European countries and even Asia. When it comes to a variety of Mediterranean fruits and vegetables. As this virus cannot survive over 26 Celsius Turkey should use its location and climate to its advantage.”

This year we are continuing to offer our international trade visitors; 2 nights’ accommodation for each trade visitor in 4/5 Star Hotel, VIP shuttle services from Airport to Hotel, Hotel to Fairground and back to Airport, with VIP fair entree and VIP services at the side of the fairground, Murat Özer Managing Director of Interfresh concludes

Antalya is the natural agricultural hub in the Mediterranean region with 365.248 hectares of agricultural area, 2,.9 billion USD of agricultural production output, 50.667 hectare open and greenhouse vegetable production, 74.787 hectares fruit production, and 184.867 hectares of field crops production.
