Landgard Bio showed professional marketing and high-quality organic products at the Biofach 2020

Focus on sustainable labelling solution, regionality and expansion of organic production

At the Biofach trade fair -that took place in Nuremberg from 12 to 15 February 2020- Landgard Bio has shown how environmentally friendly produced organic products can profit optimally from professional cooperative marketing.

"With our competent team, we had numerous good discussions with producers and important trading partners on all days of the fair and can be proud of our presence at the fair overall," said Dominique Noel -who has been responsible for Landgard Bio together with Albert Fuhs since September 2019- summarising the impressions of this year's leading organic fair. "And thanks to our new, open and modern exhibition stand, Landgard Bio was very well received by the trade visitors. With all this we have proven one thing: High-quality organic products and professional first-hand marketing simply belong together in this day and age."

Following on from Landgard's presence at the Fruit Logistica 2020, the Landgard Bio stand at Biofach offered a recognition value and focused on the wide range of diverse organically grown products.

In an exchange with the experts from Landgard Bio, interested producers who already grow organically or are interested in converting their conventional farms learned how Landgard can optimally support them on this path. In order to meet the increasing demand for organic products, Landgard is always looking for strong new organic producers, be it regionally, nationally or internationally.

Albert Fuhs of Landgard Bio represented the company in Nuremberg.

The new approaches  to product packaging, which Landgard Bio presented with an important focus during this year's trade fair appearance at Biofach 2020, also met with particularly great interest from the visitors.

Natural Branding, for example, showed how packaging can already be completely avoided for many organic products today. Here, products such as pumpkins, sweet potatoes, but also mangos, avocados, ginger, oranges or lemons are provided with laser lettering, which makes additional labels superfluous. But even where packaging is still necessary today, reducing the amount of packaging or converting plastic packaging to renewable, easily recyclable or compostable materials offers numerous possibilities for protecting the environment beyond cultivation. As part of the Landgard sustainability strategy, the producer cooperative has been committed to the responsible use of natural resources since 2015.
