In January 2020, the iLogistics Center in Prague, operated by cargo-partner, was certified, meaning it is allowed to store and handle organic products in accordance with the EU Eco-Regulation. In total, the logistics facility located next to Prague Airport comprises 10,900 square meters of storage space. It also includes a 5,000 m2 IFS-certified food warehouse, in which temperature-controlled goods can also be stored at plus 2o to 8o Celsius.
The logistics hall is located directly on the motorway and 15 minutes from the airport and the city centre. It is HACCP-certified and enables cross-docking, vendor managed inventory and order fulfillment.

Continuous optimisation of storage process
The services offered in the warehouse range from container unloading, palletizing, picking and returns logistics to repackaging, sorting, labeling, bundling, assembly, customs clearance and logistics consulting. Jiri Jelinek, managing director of cargo-partner in the Czech Republic:
"Since the opening of our iLogistics Center in Prague last year, numerous customers from the food industry have made use of our warehouse. We are continuously working on optimizing the warehouse to meet the requirements of this important market. Already in April 2019 we added a temperature-controlled area and in July 2019 our food warehouse received the IFS certification for food logistics. And in early 2020 we finally received the certification that allows us to ensure the storage and handling of organic food in accordance with the EU Organic Regulation."
Service all around perishable & temperature sensitive goods
The iLogistics Center was opened in 2019 in Logicor Park at Prague Airport and was also designed for the storage of food and perishable goods such as temperature-sensitive goods and products from organic farming. These include milk, meat, baked goods, beverages, fruit and vegetables in primary packaging and other goods that require temperature-controlled storage.
The certification accepted by the inspection body ABCERT certifies the logistics company that the warehouse fulfils the conditions for storage and handling of organic products according to Article 29 (1) of Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 of the European Union - also known as EU Organic Regulation. The regulation defines the guidelines for the production and labelling of agricultural products and foodstuffs that are declared as organic products in trade.
