Pilar Moscato export season starts in Brazil

Last week, the export season of Pilar Moscato started officially in Brazil.

Pilar Moscato is a variety and a registered brand from the city Pilar do
Sul in São Paulo. It is a seedless variety, with a unique differential: it
is very large, always above 24mm but mainly bigger than 28mm, and very sweet, with brix level always above 18, but mainly above 20.

Each branch has its size and brix tested before picking, and only the very one matching the description goes into the Pilar Moscato Brand, boxes. It is exported only via Airfreight, because, due to the very high brix level, the shelf life is very short.

The taste is also unique as the grape has no acidity in it. That is achieved due to an individual and dedicated system of feeding each plant at the vineyard.  More over each branch is protected by a paper
and plastic bag from residues insects and sprays. Also the entire Vineyard is completely protected from birds and other animals with protective nets.
