New apple brand Swing was presented to regional producers at Fruchtwelt Bodensee

"Support group wants to bring proactive approach to cultivation"

The sponsors of the new apple brand Swing Apples took the opportunity during this year's Fruchtwelt Bodensee to present their apples to regional producers. The presentation met with great interest among the trade visitors present. "It was specifically about introducing the partners in Europe and Australia, and above all the connecting element of all: Because we are committed to natural, responsible production," explains Jürgen Braun, Managing Director of Kiku LLC and promoter of the new brand.

The proud marketing partners presented the new brand at Fruchtwelt Bodensee 2020: Klaus Dubenkrop (Seefrucht LLC), Rainer Wielatt (Salemfrucht LLC) and Jürgen Braun (Kiku LLC)

This is supposed to succeed with the Swing without any problems, the story goes on. Because the "Xeleven" variety is particularly scab-resistant and has many other tolerances. "Thus, a clear project of near-natural production is growing up with many responsible producers at Lake Constance, but also in Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France and Australia. Currently, a planted area of 180 hectares is available for cultivation," says Mr. Braun.

Proactive approach to cultivation
Throughout the entire cultivation process, the group will voluntarily set a course and promote biodiversity, plant flower meadows and work without using plastic. The support group has therefore not only set itself the goal of bringing a new, modern apple to the market for international trade, but also to develop a proactive approach to cultivation. Braun: "Producers are keen to prove to consumers that they care about nature, produce transparently and ultimately want to present their work in a positive light."
