According to the Agrodata Peru website, during the month of January 2020, Peru exported 65,220,432 kilos of fresh or dried mango for an FOB value of $ 70,849,785. These figures represent a fall compared to the figures of 2018 when the country shipped 72,061,691 kilos for a value of $ 80,298,167.
The main destination of Peruvian mango in January 2019 was the United States, with shipments that amounted to $ 30,536,239 (i.e. 43% of total Peruvian shipments). It was followed by the Netherlands with $ 19,478,629, South Korea with $ 4,379,711, Spain with $ 3,306,638, the United Kingdom with $ 3,299,613, Canada with $ 2,103,161, France with $ 1,766,311, and Russia with $ 1,190,052, among other destinations with smaller amounts.
The main exporting companies were Sunshine Export SAC with sales for $ 8,365,476, Camposol SA with $ 4,071,050, Agroindustrias Golden Fresh SAC with $ 4,039,632, Dominus SAC with $ 2,999,811, FLP del Perú SAC with 2,951,127 dollars, CC Tropicales SAC with 2,914,046 dollars, Frutas de Piura SAC with 2,587,252 dollars, Asica Farms SAC with 2,436,052 dollars, and Tropical Fruit Trading Peru SAC, among others.
