Salud Foodgroup Europe recently introduced its latest product: the avocado tortilla. 
"Salud Foodgroup is the European market leader in frozen avocado products. This new product melds perfectly with our current product line. We not only have pure avocado products like sliced and diced avocado, and guacamoles," says a company spokesperson.
"We also process avocados in many other products. We use Mexican and Peruvian Hass avocados for our products. Our R & D division developed these new avocado tortillas."
"These tortillas contain 20% Salud avocado pulp. The avocado's nutritional value, with its good fats, forms the basis of this tortilla. A single tortilla contains half the recommended daily allowance of Omega 3 and vitamin E. This product meets the modern consumers' needs. People are becoming more aware of the positive effects of eating avocados. This avocado tortilla is suitable for vegetarians, vegans, and diabetics."
These tortillas have many uses. It can be eaten at lunch, filled with, for example, chicken strips, prawns, shrimps, or salmon. Or what about using a tortilla as an edible 'bowl' for a tasty salad? Or they can be used more traditionally, in a Mexican way.
