100 containers with Chilean cherries that were held in Chinese ports have been marketed

The president of the Federation of Fruit Producers of Chile (Fedefruta), Jorge Valenzuela, stated that 100 of the containers that were being held in Chinese ports and that were loaded with 1,800,000 kilos of Chilean cherries, had finally been marketed, after the end of the extension of the Chinese New Year holiday due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

For Valenzuela, this is good news. According to the president of Fedefruta, after this reactivation, both of the Chinese ports and consumption, the future of the fruit does not look bad.

Jorge Valenzuela trusts in the measures taken by the Chinese Government and hopes that the public health emergency will be soon under control and everything will return to normal.
