USDA Forecast February

Florida all orange production down 3 percent from January forecast

According to the most recent USDA numbers, Florida all orange production is down 3 percent from the January forecast. The current February forecast production stands at 72,000,000 boxes.

Florida’s Valencia orange production forecast is down just 2 percent, while the grapefruit production is up 9 percent. ‘Florida all tangerine and tangelo production’ remains unchanged.

Lemon production -for Arizona and California- remains unchanged at 1,400,000 and 19,000,000 boxes respectively.
