Carrefour has presented its first avocado pulp spread, which is preservative and gluten-free and contains 99% avocado. This avocado pulp is made by the Malaga-based company Reyes Gutiérrez, which is headquartered in one of the areas with the highest avocado production in Vélez-Málaga.
This fruit is a source of nutrients and monounsaturated fatty acids, unsaturated fatty acids, potassium and vitamins C, E and B6. It is also a source of fiber and does not contain lactose or gluten.
"Our main objective is to become the leading distribution company contributing to the food transition. We stand out by offering our customers a wide range of products, both from large domestic companies and from small and medium enterprises from each of the regions in which the chain is present," said a Carrefour representative.
Carrefour will sell this product under its own brand in its hypermarkets, supermarkets and online (via www.carrefour.es).
In Spain, Carrefour has 205 hypermarkets, 110 Carrefour Market supermarkets, 811 Carrefour Express and 24 Supeco stores, in addition to selling online.
