"PolyFilm-Ultra is an innovative patented film to defend crops against the increasingly frequent intense weather events - rain, wind, hail, sudden temperature changes. In the areas where there is no snow, the film can remain permanently in place."
"It is the only thermoplastic film in the world that can have a diffused light of 74% and a total transmittance of 87.4%. The dust transported by the wind does not remain stuck and is washed away by rain. The two edges are made of high-density polyethylene, i.e. the same material of anti-hail nets. It is highly-resistant to acids and there is a lot of interest not only from Italy but also from other European countries."
"PolyFilm-Ultra stands out not only due to the high level of diffused light and excellent transparency, but also for its low calorific value and for being UV open. The reinforcements at the sides and center are important for its installation on tensile structures. Anchoring points withstand weather stress even at 40°C÷50°C. PolyFilm-Ultra can be used to cover cherries, blueberries, raspberries, grapes and red and golden kiwis. It hastens ripening and improves color without compromising the fruit."
