For De Lisi the warehouse was destocked with great satisfaction

Lome Super Fruit closed the season ahead of schedule

"The 2019 season is now coming to an end, with a demand trend beyond expectations, given the current stocks that allow us to continue the supply of pomegranate for a week at most. Thanks to the storage in cold rooms CA (controlled atmosphere), we expected to have fresh fruit available until March, but the orders for December and January were such as to generate a destocking of the warehouse at twice the speed expected." This is according to Dario De Lisi, sales manager of Masseria Fruttirossi, the Apulian food processing plant. This company has, in a very short time, successfully positioned itself on national and international markets, thanks above all to its 100% made in Italy products.

"We are obviously satisfied, and this is clearly a sign of appreciation from our customers, who more and more identify the Italian pomegranate with the Lome Super Fruit brand, which is easily recognizable as a synonym for healthiness, quality, and a short and controlled supply chain."

"Compared to last year, we have tripled our production to about 2.500 tons, while for the 2020 season we expect to harvest 6.000 tons, based on the availability of early varieties, which will allow us to start the season at the end of August and continue it until March.”

"We have made significant investments, which will allow us to extend the seasonality of the Italian pomegranate. Prices have been normal and quite constant, with a more stable month of November, as usual, due to a greater concentration of fruit on the market."

"In this moment we are busy launching our new range of cold extracts, a line that includes different ingredients such as goji, ginger, oranges and many others, with 2 different formats available for the GDO and Horeca channels. Although this is a novelty already popular in some domestic marketplaces, it will be exhibited at the trade fair in Berlin."

Masseria Fruttirossi will exhibit at Fruit Logistica 2020, Hall 4.2/Stand A-07.
