Biological beetle control with entomopathogenic nematodes

New nematode product against larvae of weevils and leaf horn beetles

The new nematode product nemamax® will be available from March 2020. It contains the useful nematode Heterorhabditis downesi.

This nematode is characterised by its very good effect against the furrowed weevil (Otiorhynchus sulcatus), and against other Otiorhynchus species. Especially in spring and autumn this cold-tolerant species is superior to other nematode products.

Use in soft fruit
nemamax® can be used against weevil larvae (Otiorhynchus spp.) including spruce weevils (Hylobius abietis) and grubs (Hoplia philanthus, Melolontha melolontha). Areas of application are strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, tree nursery plants as well as sports and domestic lawns.

The product is suitable for organic production. The product is distributed by the well-known specialist dealers of e-nema GmbH.
