The top 10 grape producing countries

According to the United Nation's Food and Agricultural Organization, 75,866 km2 of the world is earmarked for grapes. That is almost the size of the Czech Republic. About 71% of the grapes grown worldwide are used to produce wine. Twenty-seven percent are eaten fresh, and two percent are dried. Some grapes are used for making grape juice.
