DL Fresh Logistics and Trade Packing join forces

DL Fresh Logistics and Trade Packing Bleiswijk will merge from 1 March 2020. The new combination can therefore offer a broader package of services. DL Fresh Logistics, part of DL Logistics Group, mainly focuses on the handling and storage of imported fruit, while Trade Packing specialises in the packaging and sorting of fruit and vegetables.

By merging DL Fresh Logistics and Trade Packing, a total provider of logistics services is created, specialised in fruit and vegetables with an enormous amount of knowledge and experience. "It makes both companies stronger," says Pieter Laban, director of DL Logistics Group. "Our customers are enthusiastic about the extra services that we can offer."

Trade Packing will soon move from Klappolder 123 to Klappolder 191 -193 in Bleiswijk, The Netherlands and move in with DL Fresh Logistics. "Our services complement each other perfectly. By having everything under one roof, we make optimum use of this ", says Colino Dimastrapasqua, Director of Trade Packing.

"We have also chosen to let the Trade Packing brand name expire and continue as DL Fresh Logistics," says Colino. "As part of the DL Logistics Group, optimum use can be made of all the different services that DL can already offer in-house, such as air and sea freight forwarding and customs facilities. Our customers and relations will keep the same contacts."
