Christophe Artero, FDA International:

“We have three nice projects for 2020”

FDA International will be present this year again at Fruit Logistica. Fleuron d’Anjou, branch of the cooperative, will take the opportunity to present its three major projects for 2020, at a redesigned and colorful booth.

“We have three main projects for this new year: an industrial construction project to expand our packaging station which we intend to finish during this fiscal year; an organic development project for diversification purposes; and finally, a commercial project with the cooperative in order to refocus on the development of the European market,” explains Christophe Artero, general director of FDA.

The event will also be an opportunity for the company to present its entire range of products. “We will promote the range of vegetables from the cooperative, as well as the range of fruits from trade, such as the apple exclusively from French orchards, the kiwi from Italy and the orange from Spain.

Within the vegetable range, we plan to promote the ‘leading’ vegetables from the cooperative, namely our range of bulbs (traditional shallots and echalions), some old vegetables (parsnip or Jerusalem artichoke), as well as asparagus and lamb’s lettuce,” explains Christophe.

The PGI shallot from Anjou

The PGI shallot from Anjou will be particularly on the forefront, because we represent a significant volume that allows us to present it to our Export clients.

As for the white asparagus and lamb’s lettuce, they are showing a double-digit growth.

“These two references have been highly popular among our clients. They are now part of our flagship products.”

FDA International will be present at booth C13 (Hall 22) during the three-day event. The company is also inviting its clients and future clients to come and discover the PGI shallot from Anjou with some drinks on Wednesday, February 5th at 11.30 a.m..
