Sweet Potatoes Australia are seeing very good domestic sales at the moment despite the high summer temperatures, exports are also doing very well.
"We are sending containers of sweet potatoes all around the world, our first container of retail product to The Netherlands will arrive 18th January, with one arriving in the UK towards the end of the month, we also have containers going to Spain, Germany, Thailand, Hong Kong and Dubai," said Allan Mahoney from the company.
Allan said they have ample supply and have filled the planned programs as well as new orders for export. "We can supply 52 weeks of the year, so filling orders is not a problem.
"We are very blessed with our location here in Queensland and have not been affected by the terrible fires in the country, we are assisting our customers who are donating produce to the recovery efforts on Kangaroo island ."
Allan will visiting Fruit Logistica in Berlin next month and the company have a stand at Gulf Food in Dubai Stand no S-D34
