Vegetable prices stable with slight increases in Shandong, China

Recently, vegetable prices in Shandong have remained steady with slight increases, due to a few factors. The first is the steady increase in demand. During the last month of the lunar year, there has been ample supply in the market, and the demand is increasing, driving prices up. The second factor is the change in weather. Continuous rainy and snowy weather and cold snaps have had adverse effects on the supply, logistics, and storage of greenhouse vegetables, and the rising costs have driven up prices. The third is the holiday effect. The increase in market purchases before the Spring Festival has also driven up the price of vegetables.

Thanks to the sufficient supply from the south, vegetable prices have not yet experienced sharp ups and downs, but rather remained stable with slight increases.
