India finished in number 1 spot in 2017, with a production of 19.5 million tons of mangoes. This number was 39% of the total worldwide. Far below India are China and Thailand - numbers two and three - with 4.8 million tons and 3.8 million tons of mangoes. In 2017 the global production of mangoes amounted to a total of 50.6 million tonnes (including mangosteen and guava).
