Riny van der Staak has transferred his export company of the same name to Rob Linders on the 1st of January. Rob is no stranger to relationships, as he has been with Riny van der Staak for 19 years. Riny is going to enjoy his retirement, but will remain involved in the business as an adviser in the background.
Riny grew up in the fruit and vegetable trade and joined his father in Veldhoven at the age of 19. Later he continued the business with his brother Huub and a start was made with the export of fruit and vegetables. In 1996, the brothers roads were separated and Riny decided to start his own business in Grubbenvorst, focusing on the export of fruit and vegetables. This year he would be active on the Venlo trading site for 25 years. Riny van der Staak's customers are located in Germany, Luxembourg, France and the Netherlands.
Although Riny hopes to take it easy now, he is open to performing consultancy work within the fruit and vegetable sector on an interim basis in the future. "People with a lot of experience are scarce and I think that I can certainly add value in such a role."
