The VIBE (Vegepolys International Business Event) is a business convention that contributes to prospecting and exchange between the foreign companies visiting SIVAL, the members of Vegepolys, as well as the fair exhibitors. Fruit 2050 - The prospective event at SIVAL

AGreen StartUp
January 14th to 16th
True marathon combining agriculture and innovation, the Agreen Startup Competition gives entrepreneurs, professionals and students the opportunity to develop an innovative project. The Agreen Startup Competition has become one of the highlights of SIVAL, and invites project leaders to surpass themselves, share and discover.
> Tuesday, January 14th: project leaders will attempt, in 90 seconds, to present their idea and convince their future teammates.
> Tuesday and Wednesday, January 14th-15th: at the heart of SIVAL, a coach and experts will accompany the teams to bring out the entire business plan!
> Thursday, January 16th: final pitch and deliberations. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, January 16th at 12.15 p.m. in the Forum area.
Employment
During the three days of SIVAL
> Job Dating APECITA: Wednesday, January 15th and Thursday, January 16th
Aimed at young trainees, employees and employers, the APECITA job dating event gives an overview of the vacancies in the agricultural sector. Last year, more than 60 job seekers found employment thanks to Job Dating. This year, individual interviews with advisers are also offered in order to provide the key to successful job interviews. It is also a time for discussions and testimonies on the themes of tomorrow’s agriculture with three round tables and two conferences.
Hortidating
Tuesday, January 14th - 2.00 to 4.00 p.m.
Organized by Arfho (Regional Organization of the Ornamental Horticulture Sector), BHR (Regional Horticultural Bureau), the Chamber of Agriculture of the Loire Valley, in partnership with APECITA, Hortidating offers people who wish to settle in ornamental horticulture to meet different types of companies (horticulture, nursery, family business or with several dozens of employees,…) looking for buyers or partners in the short or long term.

For all twitters on agriculture and specialized plants to exchange live around a connected aperitif.
Conferences and forums
SIVAL is a place for discussions, prospects and news around the challenges of tomorrow’s agriculture. In this context, SIVAL offers more than 50 conferences which will provide visitors with keys to the future of specialized plants. Nearly 150 participants will share their expertise and knowledge on the latest advances in research, on regulations and new production techniques linked to the environment and economic development. News
- Bigger venue
This year, SIVAL increases its exhibition area by 4,000 m². This extra space allows SIVAL to welcome 700 French and international exhibitors for the 2020 edition and to rethink its layout.
- International Development
SIVAL strengthens its international development by increasing the number of foreign delegations present and reinforcing the recruitment service for “Top Buyers”. In this context, nearly 90 targeted buyers from 12 different countries, with investment projects, will visit SIVAL. In parallel, country workshops for exhibitors are offered this year in order to bring expertise on the market opportunities (for the following countries: Italy, Gulf countries, Russia and Kazakhstan).
- Innovation Center
SIVAL proposes a center for the innovation of the sectors. This space will welcome Vegepolys Valley and all its research and training partners. A village of young innovative companies and collective pavilions of startups (Ferme Digitale, Cofarming, Champs du Possible…) will also share this space.
- New Forum area
The Forum area is moving to the heart of the Innovation Center. Novelty this year: participants and speakers of the Forum will be welcomed in a full-scale greenhouse!
- SIVAL App
The SIVAL App launched last year is adding new functions. It will allow visitors to prepare their SIVAL visit by selecting the conferences to attend and exhibitors to meet. With its interactive layout, a function for taking notes, and the possibility to receive a visit report, it is becoming an essential tool for visitors.
- Getting there
A new service is available to the visitors: a shuttle system from Rennes, Poitiers, Tours and Nantes. For more information, click here.
