Greenyard Fresh Spain was given a special recognition award at the “early pepper meeting” in Berja (Almería). The award highlighted the special efforts the company is making in the high-altitude production area of the Alpujarra, especially in the early pepper plantations in Berja, Adra and Dalías.
The award, presented by the Director of Agricultural Production of the Andalusian regional government, Mr. Manuel Galera, recognises Greenyard’s initiatives to improve the quality of peppers for future campaigns.
The company has been working closely with growers and contributing to their choice of varieties, seeking to meet the demands of customers and end consumers for tasty attractive fruits with excellent post-harvest and shelf life, and an extended production calendar.
