Duda Farm launches "Dip It 2 Win It" sweepstakes

"Data shows nearly 14m lbs of celery sold during Superbowl week"

For the fourth year in a row, Dandy® Celery, grown by Duda Farm Fresh Foods, announces the return of its largest annual promotion, ‘Dip It 2 Win It’. Running now through January 10, the sweepstakes aims to elevate healthier snacking and drive in-store sales during peak football season while also offering loyal fans a chance to win an exclusive prize ahead of the Big Game.

To enhance football watch parties and drive demand of Dandy-branded celery, Duda Farm Fresh Foods partnered exclusively with Weber Grills to award, for the first time ever, one grand prize winner the new ground-breaking Weber® SMOKEFIRE™ wood fired pellet grill along with a name brand 65-inch LED Smart TV. The company will also be giving away five secondary prizes of name brand 55-inch LED Smart TVs to the remaining winners.

“Purchase data has shown us that nearly 14 million pounds of celery is sold during the week of the Big Game. Celery sticks sell higher volumes during this time period and at a higher price average, even more than during the holidays, generating more dollars for the category,” said Dan Duda, president of Duda Farm Fresh Foods. “We wanted to thank our Dandy fans by launching another year of our popular Dip It 2 Win It sweepstakes. We hope this inspires more game watchers to incorporate healthy snacking in their game time spread.”

In addition to targeted email marketing and national TV segments airing this month through January, Duda Farm Fresh Foods implored new tactics this year to encourage more engagement amongst consumers. On the company’s Instagram, they will host a special flash promotion series in conjunction with the larger sweepstakes and special gift packages will be sent to select influencers for additional shares on social media. Weber Grills will also share the promotion and relevant grilling recipes on their social platforms to broaden the sweepstakes reach.
