Gullimex supplies measuring instruments and registration systems and is a knowledge partner. This Dutch company has now acquired some of Medogen Diagnostika's clients. This company is based in Germany. This takeover is the next step in Gullimex's internationalization. The business, which is located in the Dutch region of Twente, also has a branch in Belgium.
"Germany is an interesting new sales area for us," says company director, Jeroen Roeleven. "Not only when it comes to size. We can also support German organizations well in terms of complying with all regulations."
Gullimex has been advising businesses since 1981. They do so about measuring instruments and registration processes in several areas. These include ATP and temperature settings. These contribute to better process control, (food) safety, and improved quality.
An own service center also ensures certified calibration and repairs. Up to now, this service delivery has been concentrated in the Dutch and Belgian markets. These markets are in the Food Industry, Food, Health and Pharma, and Transport sectors.
Jeroen Roeleven says, "Medogen Diagnostika indicated it wanted to stop servicing the Hygiena (ATP) brand. We then received a tip from Hygiena themselves. We are already a Hygiena distributor in the Netherlands and Belgium. With this acquisition, we are, therefore, mainly expanding our operating area."
The new German website went live on 1 December. According to Roeleven, this website means more flexibility for their German clients. "Every order received before 14.00 on www.gullimex.de is sent that same day, providing we have stock. Clients can log in and place orders themselves. They can check the stock. Clients can also track their orders at any time of the day."
Roeleven points out that this expansion into Germany is not just a positive change for German clients. "It is also attractive for Dutch companies who have branches in Germany. We do not only supply Hygiena products. We can now ship our other fixed brands to Germany too. These include Ebro, TempWeb, Trivision, and Bellingham & Stanley.”For more information:
