A promising, successful and good year is coming to its end. This is the summary of the recent meeting of all European Crimson Snow® Partners at the Serbian licensee Verda Vivo. One of the big themes was this year’s end of harvest. The snowfall of the last few weeks made sure, that the apples really have been "CrimsON snow.“
Orchards in many parts of Europe were covered completely by snow.
Meanwhile, all fruits were harvested without problems. The purple colour is fantastic and the quality of the over 10,000 tons of harvested apples is excellent.
In addition, past marketing activities were discussed and new ones were planned. However, it was immediately clear, the image formation with great ambassadors from the world of sports is continuing: probably the most well known ambassador, the South Tyrolean downhill skier Peter Fill, has started his World Cup season. In summer, there was a collaboration with Ferrero and the tennis- and wheelchair tennis-circuit "Kinder Tennis“, which will be continued in 2020.
Regarding the B2B sector, after the recently held FruitAttraction fair in Madrid, the planning for the FruitLogistica 2020 in Berlin is almost completed.
Yet to be optimized are the activities at the point of sales in the strong sales countries of Europe and the new markets. The fresh apple will be supplemented by tests of "Crimson Snow Juice“. This, as well as packaging for the Russian market, was already presented at the meeting in Serbia.
The French newcomer Mesfruits has already placed the first fruits of this season on the French market under the slogan "La pomme de votre hiver" (The apple for your winter). To be found in the best ski resorts of the Alps and Pyrenees.
