Ruling against two Spanish companies for selling a product that delayed the kaki ripening

The Provincial Court of Valencia has ruled against two Spanish companies for marketing a phytoregulatory product that delayed the kaki ripening and which had been used in crops in the Region of Valencia.

As stated in the ruling, the parties affected claimed compensation for damages and losses "as a result of the use in their kaki plantation of the product called Agrogib-L, which contains gibberellic acid as active material, and which had been manufactured by Proplan and sold by Coagri." More than 13,000 Euro will have to be paid in compensation for the damages caused to the producers.
