Wonderful Citrus announced that Zak Laffite will become its new president, effective January 1, 2020. Laffite will assume the position previously held for 20 years by David Krause, who will transition into the newly created role of Advisor to Chairman and President of The Wonderful Company, Stewart Resnick.
Wonderful Citrus, part of The Wonderful Company, is America’s largest integrated grower, shipper and packer of fresh citrus. It owns, cultivates, and harvests over 60,000 acres of fresh citrus, and ships it around the world each year to ensure a year-round supply. Wonderful’s citrus can be found in the produce department of grocery stores across America under the flagship consumer brands of Wonderful® Halos® mandarins and Wonderful® Seedless Lemons.

Laffite has been with Wonderful Citrus since 2004, most recently in the role of Chief Sales Officer. At Wonderful, he has also served as COO, Vice President of Supply Chain, and Senior Director of Product Management.
