According to the weekly report of the Prices and Markets Observatory regarding the production of citrus fruits in week 48 of 2019 (from December 3 to 10), "the citrus campaign continues at a good pace when it comes to the harvesting, marketing in the handling centers and packaging at warehouses. Moreover, prices remain stable, although with a positive trend."
With regard to the harvest, the Observatory has reported that “the early citrus varieties are still being harvested, namely the oranges from the Navel group, as well as oranges from the Blancas group, such as the Salustianas. Operations are also underway for the harvest of extra-early mandarin varieties such as the Oronules or Orogros. In the case of lemons, the Primaflori or Fino variety is still being harvested, although the pace is not as good as that of other citrus fruits.
