Unica Group has reached a sales volume of more than 107 million kilos since the 2019/20 campaign started on September 1, which represents an increase of 44%. Also very significant is the fact that all cooperatives integrated in Unica have grown considerably since joining the second-degree cooperative.
This increase is the result, on the one hand, of the organic growth of existing cooperatives, which have increased their volume by 21%, especially as a result of the incorporation of new producers. On the other hand, it is also explained by the incorporation of the Coopaman, Sunaran and Copisi cooperatives into the UNICA project (Nulexport data hasn't yet been taken into account). The growth contributed by these is of 23%.
Worthy of note is that there has been a 13% increase in the production of organic crops, motivated by the constantly rising demand from its customers and the commitment of Unica Group producers.
The supply of Unica Group stands out for its volume, range (with more than one hundred varieties available) and the constant search for innovation, in addition to a commitment to sustainability, digital transformation and healthy eating. Since the beginning of the campaign, nutritionist Aitor Sánchez, author of the blog My Dieta Cojea, has been collaborating with UNICA as an advisor and lending his image in social media, prescribing the consumption of fruits and vegetables.
