Flandria market information:

"Cauliflower prices climbing due to falling supply"

In Belgium, the demand for leeks is on the rise. This is thanks to the cold weather. The supply of this product is also increasing, creating consumer-friendly prices. There are lots of loose tomatoes. The first production of autumn-grown TOV is also very present at auction.

Cauliflower prices are rising due to falling availability. Broccoli supplies are also on the decline. The switch from summer chicory to winter chicory is in full swing. The colder weather is stimulating people to use this product. Prices are firm.

There are comprehensive amounts of lettuce, with prices remaining stable.  There are also enough heads of cabbage available at the Belgian auction. Red cabbage is currently the most expensive of the cabbage varieties; green and white cabbage, the cheapest.
