Japanese engineers travel to Spain to learn about strawberry growing tech

A Japanese delegation formed by Kyoichi Okino, the vice president of the Japanese company Denba, Koki Hosoya, the director of Asia-Pacific Operations of Gata Capital, and a team of Japanese engineers visited the facilities of Freson de Palos, a company from Huelva that is an European leader in berry production, to learn firsthand about the different processes used by the company in its production chain.

Juan Perez, advisor of Freson de Palos, and Alberto Garrocho, one of the partners of the company, guided the Japanese delegation during their visit and shared their knowledge with their oriental colleagues. They paid special attention to Japanese technology that extends the food's shelf life, through a particular cold preservation method based on the activation of the fruit's water molecules using waves, thus slowing their deterioration.
