Jupiter announced they have formalized an exclusive agreement to build their own procurement and grower base in Colombia.
Jupiter Colombia is their latest base in South America and will encompass a procurement team focusing on a range of exotics.
Solidifying offerings
Their existing offering of avocado, pineapple, mangoes and lime has been strengthened with the partnership. They are now in a position to provide additional top quality produce due to expanded variety availability and competitive transit time for pineapples to Europe.
The agreement aligns with plans to support marginal farmers and provide them with the necessary tools to deliver a good quality product whilst simultaneously improving their standard of living.

Colombian fresh produce
The Jupiter Colombia team will provide all provisions from in-country, utilizing the Colombian climate and optimum growing conditions to provide tasty and nutritious avocados, pineapples, mangoes and limes. The strengthened portfolio of fruit allows the company to capitalize on the growing demand for exotic products globally.
First Colombian avocados will arrive soon
Jupiter avocados are available year-round from farms in Spain, South Africa, Israel and now Colombia. The Colombian supply consolidates the existing offering of avocado and strengthens their variety availability.
Alongside the popular Hass variety, Jupiter is able to supply Fuerte, Pinkerton, Reed, Bacon and Ryan to their global client base.
