Which countries are in the top 10?

Global ranking shows potato yields from 1962 to 2018

How have different countries in the world's potato yields differed from each other over the years? In the video below, Data for Farmers shows how countries positions changed in the world ranking. This was between 1962 and 2017. This ranking concerns their yields of table potatoes.



The ranking is based on the average potato harvest in ton per hectare. In 2017, there were 195 countries in the world. Of these, 166 cultivated potatoes. This product is, therefore, grown in about 85% of all the countries worldwide.
