An Australian-based company providing fresh produce-based gift hampers, is already taking orders ahead of the Christmas rush.
iGift® Fruit Hampers was created in 2014 with the vision to deliver high-quality, personalised fruit gift hampers to the Australian market. The company's biggest selling Christmas Hampers are traditionally the Cherry Gift Boxes.
"These are very popular as they are a perfect gift for a group or team to share, and we help a lot of companies fulfil their Christmas gift giving," Founder Maria Taverner said.
iGift® send out hundreds of fresh fruit gift hampers and baskets each week from their warehouse based in Sydney, and Ms Taverner says this number only increases around peak gifting periods. The fruit variety changes seasonally, and the gifts are customised by using the add on items. The fruit is sourced using premium Australian produce from the Sydney Markets.
"We experienced rapid growth as word spread about our beautiful fruit baskets and gift hampers," she said. "What started as an idea to spread happiness across Australia with gifts, is so much more now that iGift® is a trusted brand across NSW, QLD, VIC and ACT. We are known to include a larger variety of fruits than our competitors and it is one reason our customers keep coming back. We do not currently allow customers to choose their own fruit range because we source the best fruit available on a daily basis. However, we do allow customers to design their own gift hampers from our ‘create your own’ hamper section."
She says that corporate clients have various branding options, such as printing their logo on top of our wooden boxes, branded ribbon and branded gift cards.
"Our hampers and gift baskets are perfect for any occasion," she said. "We have a range of gifts that include flowering plants, native flowers, luxury candles, L’Occitane products, books, gourmet food and a new range of premium alcohol hampers."
Ms Taverner added that the feedback received regularly is that customers are delighted they found iGift®, as it’s a great alternative to flowers.
"Flowers are beautiful, but our fruit hampers are both beautiful and edible. The perfect gift for people in hospital as a lot of hospitals no longer allow flowers to enter the wards. We think our gift hampers are perfect for everyone and suit every occasion."
An added benefit, according to Ms Taverner is the health benefits.
"Everyone should be eating more fruit and from a health perspective they are the perfect gift for all," she explained. "The hampers and baskets are packed in a way to ensure freshness of the product, by using fruit at different ripeness levels and only buying Grade 1 produce. We monitor our deliveries very carefully and work with couriers who are prioritising perishable items so that they arrive in perfect condition. We use cooler packs in the summer months and box insulation to protect from heat damage."
