“Even the most demanding clients are turning to Moroccan products”

For Anteus, a producer in the Agadir region of Morocco, the 2019-2020 season started very well. The first trucks have arrived and the quality is there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The beginning of the marketing was quite complicated, due to temperatures that were too warm for the season and to the presence until late on of many producing countries like Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, or even Albania, which is now ending its summer production.

With its 50 hectares of tomatoes, zucchinis and bell peppers, the Anteus Agri farm will enter full production in the coming weeks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“In early 2020, we will also start with the red kuri squash,” reports Patrick Brun of Anteus Fruits. “The quality of the land and the cultivation method make it a naturally healthy product. The demand for it increases each year. A large part of the production is already pre-sold in Northern Europe.”

“This year, in order to meet the demand of our clientele, we are expanding our range of products with dutch-style cucumbers and flat green beans.”

“And the price gap is no longer the main argument. In fact, given the quality of our products from Morocco, even the most reluctant clients are turning to this origin. The product keeps well, presents well, and along with the sanitary monitoring of the crops, this places us among the most prized origins.”

“Certified IFS at 99%, food safety is a voluntary initiative for Anteus and one of its priorities. We advocate a sustainable agriculture; integrated pest management and zero pesticides are already in place for the California wonder bell pepper. Our agricultural engineer, Mohamed, and our site manager, Brahim, ensure the quality, homogeneity and traceability of all exported goods.”
