After more than half a year of renovations, the Banken Polska building in Niepruszewo has finally been finished. When the building was built in 2004, it was not expected that the company would grow quite as quickly. At present, the Polish branch of Banken Champignons represents 25% of the turnover of Banken Champignons Group with an annual growth of more than 10%. This quickly made the building too small. This is why the distribution centre doubled in size after the renovation. In total, the distribution centre now has more than 6,000 square metres and 13 loading docks.
The Banken family was also present
In addition to the reopening of the DC, the company had an additional reason to celebrate. Banken Polska has been in existence for 17 years and the Banken nursery in Tarnowa has also been running for 10 years. The third reason for a party was the 18 employees who celebrated a copper anniversary.
Banken Polska celebrated a traditional Polish celebration
During the opening of the new building on 5 October, all employees and their partners from Banken Polska and mushroom farm Tarnowa Champ were present. In addition to the suppliers, the Banken family was of course also present: Henk, Jurgen and Rob with their partners. In total there were more than 200 invitees who were given a tour of the distribution centre, explaining the business processes. It was a traditional Polish celebration with Polish dishes and dance music.
