The mobile greenhouse puts focus on consuming European fruits and vegetables

The spectacular mobile greenhouse that is traveling through many European cities to promote the consumption of "tasty and healthy European fruits and vegetables," as well as to showcase how the vegetables grown in them live in optimal conditions of humidity or temperature (thereby developing their full potential), is making a stop in Madrid next week.

It will happen in the framework of Fruit Attraction, which will take place at the IFEMA fairgrounds in the Spanish capital. In recent months, the greenhouse has already made stops in cities such as Brussels, Paris, Rennes, Nantes, Montpelier, Bordeaux, Cologne or Valencia. The trip is being made under the slogan 'Cultivating the Taste of Europe'.

Promoters
The mobile greenhouse is an initiative which has received the support of organizations from several European countries. In the case of Almeria, the list features APROA (Association of Fruit and Vegetable Producers) and the Federation of Fruit and Vegetable Exporters. The Murcia-based association Proexport is also part of the consortium.

Other members of this consortium are the Association of producers of the European Union (Fruit Vegetables Europe), the AOPn Tomate & Concumbre and AOPn Fraises de France, the KZGPOiW of Poland and Incofruit Hellas, of Greece. Three other organizations, namely FEPEX, ANPCA and Proexport, are participating as collaborators.

The presence at Fruit Attraction was decided due to the status of Madrid's fair as one of the most important events of the year in the national and international scene. Visitors are welcome between the 22 and 24 of October.

During those days, numerous groups of Madrid schoolchildren are expected to participate in this promotional activity, which will allow them to learn about how the crops currently grown in greenhouses are produced. They will also have a chance to taste some of the vegetables.

The organizers believe that the exhibition of the mobile greenhouse will have a positive impact among the nearly 100,000 professional visitors who will be present in this eleventh edition of Fruit Attraction.
