Dutch produce wholesaler's MD steps down

Edwin Vanlaerhoven will step down as one of Valstar and Best Fresh's Managing Directors. He will leave these Dutch companies on 31 October. Vanlaerhoven announced this on his LinkedIn profile.

Edwin has been at Valstar for seven years. He was active in the flower trade. Hans Mulder will, provisionally, succeed him. Mulder will be assisted by Mart Valstar, the Best Fresh Group Director.

Edwin talks of seven great years. "This summer, I took the time to consider what my ambitions are. I decided I am ready for a new phase in my career, " says Vanlaerhoven.

"I would like to thank everyone whom I worked with over the years. Together, we achieved great things. I am convinced that more success will follow as Valstar Holland approaches its 100th anniversary."
