Key Technology appoints Juan Neustadtel S.A.S. as sales representative in Colombia

Key Technology has announced the appointment of Juan Neustadtel S.A.S. as its exclusive sales representative in Colombia. Juan Neustadtel is responsible for bringing Key’s digital sorting, conveying and automation systems to food processors and other manufacturers.

“Juan Neustadtel is ideally suited to help Key expand its presence in Colombia. The food processing market here has been growing 10 percent a year for the last five years, and processors are eager to elevate product quality and increase yields with advanced equipment like our VERYX® digital sorters and Iso-Flo® vibratory conveyors,” said Bret Larreau, Director of InterCon Sales - Latin America and Asia Pacific at Key Technology. “Juan Neustadtel has the industry expertise, technical knowledge and company relationships to deliver tremendous value. Their culture of superior service and support aligns perfectly with Key’s commitment to being a trusted and knowledgeable partner to our customers.”

The company noted that for over 65 years, Juan Neustadtel has specialized in bringing world-class processing and packaging equipment to food processors in Colombia. They have sales and service offices in Medellín and Bogotá, as well as a service office in Cali.

“International and Colombian food safety policies are requiring greater product quality, especially of exported foods,” said Juan Fernando Uribe (pictured above), Commercial Director of Special Lines at Juan Neustadtel. “With Colombian processors increasingly focused on selling to global markets, we see an enormous opportunity for Key to help customers maximize their food safety while improving production efficiencies. We’re thrilled to represent Key – they have a reputation for innovative equipment, quality engineering and outstanding customer support.”

In addition to serving as Key’s exclusive sales representative in Colombia, Juan Neustadtel’s role will expand to include after sales service, including spare parts support, in the near future.
