"Earlier I didn't know that apples before they go on sale require many actions. I thought it was very simple, Apples from trees hit the market and that's it. It was a really informative and eye-opening trip," said Raj Bhatt, a representative of the media from the UAE.

Participants included representatives of the largest distribution companies from the UAE, such as: Gholami & Abedi, Rush Group, Jaleel Holding, Fit Fresh, Golden Garden Foodstaff Trading, Fruit Line Trading, Kassouma Trading and representatives of the media world of the UAE: Eurofresh Distribution, Hozpitality Media Group and Mark My World Blog.

On the second day of the visit a conference was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Guests were greeted by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR), Main Inspectorate of Plant Health And Seed Inspection (GIORiN), Polish Investment & Trade Agency (PAIH).

It is a very promising region, the largest export market in the Middle East, has a strategic geographical location, is a way of entering other countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

"On the third day of our visit, we met many apple producers and exporters who explained their production methods and shared their plans to export apples to the UAE and other markets. We visited orchards where apple trees are grown. The owners explained the process of flowering, orchard protection and we had the opportunity to see that apples are harvested by hand. We saw how passion, centuries-old tradition, experience and unique climate make apples from Europe have a unique taste and health benefits. We had a wonderful lunch in the orchard, which we will remember for a long time," said Raj Bhatt.
