Seminis Idea Exchange 2019 will begin on September 24th

Seminis Vegetable Seeds is hosting its Idea Exchange 2019 from September 24th to September 26th. During this experiential event, there will be opportunities to communicate with market experts, growers, and Solution Partners to provide attendees with industry-leading insights, solutions, and networking opportunities. The event is a reinvention of the Seminis’ traditional field days, taking a holistic approach to growers’ operations.

The first day of the event, Tuesday September 24th, will feature a field demonstration by iX partner Sentek, led by Paolo Antini who is the company’s business development manager in Europe. There will be multiple of these types of field demos throughout the event, each led by different iX partners. The first day will also feature a field demo by White Air Solutions, led by the company’s managing director Gary White.

On the second day of the event, Wednesday September 25th, Sentek’s Paolo Antini returns to do a presentation on Sentek’s Bluetooth probes launch. There will be another field demo, this one executed by iX partner Tumoba. There will be multiple research presentations, including one given by Claudia Nooijen on important diseases in Spinach, and Frans van den Bosch on the strengths of the seminis broccoli range.

On the third and final day, Thursday September 26th, there will be multiple presentations, on topics ranging from new innovations and trends in the market, sustainable crop protection, and seed treatment challenges. The event will close with drawing the winners for multiple prize packages.

Throughout the event, visitors will be able to participate in a factory visit. There is still time to register for the event, which will take place in Enkhuizen, the Netherlands.
