The downward price trend persists in the white cabbage market in Poland, as reported by EastFruit project analysts citing data from their own daily monitoring.
At the moment, Polish growers are agreeing to sell white cabbage at a price of $ 0.23-0.30 / kg, which is on average 11% cheaper than at the end of the previous working week. According to traders, the downward price trend was due to a seasonal increase in the supply of late-season cabbage. At the same time, the demand for these products in Poland today is extremely low. Producers say that the main buyers are local wholesale companies and retail chains, while exporters show little interest in buying white cabbage.
It is worth noting that white cabbage in Poland is already 9% cheaper on average than in the same period last year. At the same time, producers are certain that the market situation will only worsen if the pace of sales remains the same, as the supply of these products on the market continues to grow.
