Marco Beshay took up his position at Jan Oskam BV in Vleuten, the Netherlands, on 2 September. He is the trading company's Junior/Aspiring Sales Manager for Fruit and Vegetable. This 36-year-old originally hails from Egypt. Marco has been living in the Netherlands for 15 years. He completed a course in International Trade at Van Hall-Larenstein in Velp.
"His network is not so large yet. So, Marco wants to make contact with Egyptian owned or managed fruit and vegetable trade companies throughout Europe. These people might be interested in Dutch top fruit, such as apples or pears. Marco's international language skills are more than sufficient. Despite this, his Arabic roots are essential," says Kees Oskam, General Director at Jan Oskam.
