The Salustiana orange season from Uruguay started a few weeks ago. "At this time of year, it is quite difficult to find good oranges. Oranges that people will buy again and again," says Gerry van Ooijen of the Dutch company, Van Ooijen Citrus.
"Our Navel Late oranges from Uruguay fall into the same category. The arrival of these Navel Lates is, however, coming to an end. This, while we can still offer Salustiana oranges until mid-October."
"The current quality is excellent - easy to peel and brimming with juice. The sales of this category of Salustiana oranges have increased dramatically in recent years. They are available in 40, 48, 56, 64, and 72 sizes."
"These oranges are exclusively offered in open-top boxes under the Urufruit label. We import this product in partnership with Postuma, Bel-Citrus, and El Arte. As the label says, their taste is a work of art," concludes Gerry.
