Report predicts shortages of fruit and veg in the UK after the Brexit

The English newspaper The Sunday Times has published a confidential report called Yellowhammer which includes the covert planning being carried out by the Government of the United Kingdom to avoid a catastrophic collapse in the country's infrastructure if the UK exits the European Union (EU) without reaching an agreement, which is popularly known as a hard Brexit. According to a document of the British Government, this scenario would cause a shortage of fruits, vegetables, and other foods in the country, as well as medicines and fuels.

According to the document, the goods won't reach the United Kingdom normally for several months because 85% of the trucks cross the English Channel.

The new British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has repeatedly announced that he will leave the EU with or without an agreement on October 31, causing more and more discrepancies even among his supporters.
