Avocado forum focuses on faster exports of fresh avocado

The great creamy taste of Mexican avocados is undeniable … and so is the challenge for Mexican exporters and European importers to obtain the best results. Since United Producers of Mexico, known as UPM, started operating in 2016, the focus has been on improving all aspects of avocado exports from Mexico to the Netherlands, from improvements in orchards, quality control in origin and reduced sea days. By teaming up with specialists in the industry, these efforts are now showing results. For this reason, UPM has organized the Avocado Forum on Monday August 19th, 2019 in Rotterdam, where avocado importers from the Netherlands negotiate with qualified and certified exporters from Mexico. These exporters are participating in the Avocado Trade Mission, that is visiting the Netherlands from August 19th through 23rd.
