Southern Europe citrus volumes dropping slightly

Although the weighted orange prices in the EU are at about 5 euros/100 kg lower than in the 2017-2018 crop year, they are relatively stable and might even go up a little. In any case, they are again approaching the 5-year average.

Citrus fruit production in Spain is of course still dropping off somewhat from the 2014 peak crop. Italy is producing less as well, but Greece and Portugal show extremely stable numbers.
