As part of the technical seminar on GPS and berries held at the Cooperativa Fresón de Palos of Huelva, the official distributor of Trimble Agriculture, Vantage Iberia Occidental, has presented its latest innovation to more than 30 sector cooperativists: the new ISOBUS systems. These simplify the interconnection between different types of machinery, tractors and the GPS system. The recommended systems for this kind of crops have also been showcased, including the GFX-750 screen and the Autopilot Motor Drive.
In the case of strawberries and other berries of Huelva, the use of this type of solutions has become common for certain tasks, like the preparation of the soil, although they are also increasingly used for the variable application of inputs, with which important savings can be obtained.
For several years now, Vantage Iberia Occidental has been supporting its berry customers in the area by providing an RTK station (real-time satellite kinetic navigation) with which farmers can achieve the highest precision in the market, completely free of charge. This represents an important saving for the users, who in this way can work with complete peace of mind and without the need to invest in their own RTK station.
Another aspect particularly appreciated by the producers at Fresón de Palos has been the commitment from the technical and after-sales service of Vantage Iberia Occidental to respond quickly. With these crops that have such intense campaigns, it is essential to have a technological partner capable of responding to any unforeseen situation in the shortest possible time.
Lastly, those attending the event also had the opportunity to test the operation of the GFX-750 screen and the Autopilot Motor Drive in a simulator.
