The new 500g cardboard packaging introduced by Donnalia features a brief consumption guide at the bottom (see photo below) that explains the nature of the fruit, its ideal texture, how it is grown and the best condition to savor it.
"This initiative is not a mere update from the point of view of graphics, but a way to reach and assist final consumers when they purchase and eat our products," explains Angelo and Vincenzo Di Pasquale.
"With just a few simple words, we provide information on the product and on the best way to savor it while at the same time telling a lot about us through the barcode and QR code. Traceability is essential to provide a guarantee about our products. We can also be reached via the main social media (Facebook, Instagram e LinkedIn). The idea was developed in cooperation with Carton Pack, a leading company when it comes to this type of packaging solutions."

"Our Donnalia-branded products have become available a few days ago, with a slight delay as we chose to only commercialize specific varieties with excellent organoleptic qualities."
Last year, the company commercialized around 600 tons of apricots, 2000 tons of peaches and nectarines and 1500 tons of table grapes. This year, the Di Pasquale brothers are looking to increase volumes by 15%.
The new packaging started with apricots and will continue with peaches in August followed by PGI table grapes from Canicattì.
